For about 10 years now, I've been face painting every Weds. night for Family Night at The Falls Restaurant... and I'm watching kids grow, families evolve and time pass. This last Wednesday, little Jason, age 3 comes by my face painting work area, goes over to my tip bag and places a dollar in it, and hops on the posing stool to make his request. In a little bit his mother shows up concerned and asked if Jason had put the dollar in the bag, and I assured her he did.
Mom got a funny look on her face as apparently while she had been distracted for moment, apparently Jason had pull apart the contents of her purse in search of money for Twinkles, very independent young man. His intention was very honorable, he's now learning that Momma's purse needs permission first. Totally adorable.
